My easy go-to home-made hummus
I love some good home-made hummus with fresh veggies or even spread on some yummy sourdough bread. Here is a recipe that I have been using for years.
Ingredients for this easy home-made hummus
- 1 can chickpeas
- 2 tablespoons olive oil ( sometimes i add an extra spoon)
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 tablespoons tahini
- 1 tablespoon water
Putting it all together to get yummy homemade hummus
Crush the garlic clove and put it in your blender and add the lemon juice. I use the nutribullet but any blender would work well.
Add the olive oil and tahini.
make sure you drain the chickpeas and then add them to your blender.
Now blend and blend, if you find that it is a bit dry add the extra olive oil. If that does not work then add some water. And just like that you have yummy homemade hummus.
